i disagree not if its a commentated one as you actually see what they are doing rather than having to make it out from some vague screen shots

Ahh, i see you are already here, so i had no need to give you a link.......i dont pay atention to new members untill they post a few times or start a topic......yeah, im rude like that sometimes
I reccomend starting with a modified version of Romulan Wars, like i did
(Here is the link to the game)

I know its terrible, but it was my first game, also i reccomend getting photoshop and learning how to use it before doing anything, you wont have white boxes around your sprites Hope this helps

ok soo heres the best way to learn from scratch and trust me its easier to learn this way frm scratch, this sounds stupid but it really helped me, get adobe flash cs4 spend between 20-50 dollers on flash cs4 for dummies, then ur on your way, after that i personally find text easier as u bookmark it and use it to help u.. but it depends on the job...
and on ur most suited learning style..
if u dont wish to sepnd any money, try searching google for basic flash tutorials

Flash is hard, but if all you are doing is changing sprites, thats relitivly easy, remember, all of the stats are hidden in the code, also if you tell me what operating system you have, i will tell you the best flash software to download (some of the newer ones lag, so if you get an older one sometimes it works better, it depends, i have a Windows 2000, so Micromedia works best )
