why?

why do american shows have to have mid season breaks that are like 4 months long i just found out that stargate universe wont start again till april wtf why theyve already made all the episodes why do they need to keep everyone wait and lose interest in the show ugh

probably something to do with schr=eduling its unlikely to be their choice

or the people have other things to attend too just be patient its a good show you wouldnt loose interest that fast

yeh but ive had nothing to do for days and i was looking forward to watching it then to find that itsnot on till april is just annoying

yea well thats tv for you cant expet them to always be on they do need a break

i know but theyve made the rest of the series it not like it the end of a season and their making new episodes

Well, usually its inbetween seasons, but yes there are alot of show that do mid season breaks that are 4 months long....anyway it is because they film the season (in this case half of the season) and then play it once a week, wich if they have the whole season they should play it all week.....

what if they played all week then itd be kinda rubbish they wouldnt be able to build up suspense or anything
