its just more realistic like in the12th episode of sgu they were having nightmares and reprucusions of being attacked by aliens, and its closer to home i guess more like modern it or well out times

well yeh the fact its still in production helps star trek is at least 5 years old wnad at most 60ish (if you go back but tng is like 20 or sumin)

but i mean even when it was first released it was so much more in depth and more in it, i guess the new startrek the one before kirk is pretty good, and the new stargate film was orgasmic

star trek! idk why there is just something about it.

Well even though i like startrek, that new movie, it was good, but it was not statrek, triditionally anyway, i liked the movie, but it was just, not startrek, not anymore, all these new movies they plan, like every 2 years now jj abrems is going to come out with a new movie, his moves are not startrek, shure the ships look similar, and the crew is the same, and the ship is called enterprise, but it is not triditional...it is to advanced for that era in startrek.

wellthey cant have it looking as crappy as tos otherwise no one would watch it its all part of moving forward they did the same thing with ent that looks far more advanced than tos

Yah, enterprise looks more advanced, but it still fits with it being before the tos, i mean they use shuttles more, they only have 82 crew members, and they dont even kow who the tholians are or the romulans, shure the graphics are better, but the federation is only just being born, the phasers cant desintigrate people, and what not.....oh and the klingons are still the bad guys.
