basic encoding

ive got a bad memory i need to know some flash things such as on as2 what is the code for a button

here are the ones i know off the top of my head, i think iwe should to help other members out aswell put code on here and explain wht it does E.g.

stop(); stops the timeline completely

gotoAndPlay(insert frame number) goes to the specified frame you told it to and plays from there

gotoAndStop(insert frame number) goes to and stops on the specified frame

stopAllSounds(); stops all sounds that are playing

these are very basic but are very handy and there like not anywherwe as no one puts themm up cos they are so basic

buttons are something like on mouse click

i thought they where onRelease{
gotoAndPlay(602)
}
yet it sed a syntax error or sumin

no im pretty sure its on mouse click did you turn it into a button

yeer im doing the actionscript onto the button itself or should it be on the frame or what

why dont just take the actionscript from somewhere else

all my flash folders on my EXT HD of which my parents are using to backup there pc's

then goto a website which tells you how to write actionscript

they all cost
