My brothers a idiot

My brother likes BM so much he's gone and wants to try and make his own, based off the BM1 source, who else thinks he'll fail?

He wanted me too make a small banner for him too show you all.



So what advice should I give him apart from Give up now?

Hi. Paint isn't used for making games. Instead use flash.
When I make games on flash all I do is use two pieces of code.
This is the action for buttons-
on (press){
gotoAndPlay();
}
In the brackets goes the frame number you want the button to play. To use this for say a ply button. You need to stop the frame by giving it this action-
stop();
This way the frame doesn't move untill you tell it to.
For an enemy all you do is convert the picture to a button. Once you've done that give it the frame you want to play when it is pressed. I usually use 25 frames ahead. In the 24 frames do the enemy shooting and killing the character. And when the character has died. Put a button restarting the game on the 24th frame. Put a stop action on that frame. Then on frame 25 do an animation of the player killing the enemy.
Continue this and you may not have keyboard control but you will have a fun shooter.

i reckon your gunna fail epically, u get a simple sentance wrong, by that i mean u put "a idiot" when anyone who has the slightest partial bit of english skill wud no its supposed to be "an idiot" seeing as the word starts with a vowel so you know.. and a decent name for a broken mirror game

Skembri, my brother is really good at spelling and I'm only 12 so you can expect tiny mistakes like that.

yeh but you said your brother is younger than you therefore standing to reason that he will be worse English i.e using grammar and spelling

Yeah, he is younger than me, he is good at english, so what?

And also, I have Dislexia, so hat doesn't help.
