a random bit of help with my maths

so i got igven an assignment 5 weeks ago itts in for tomoro and i havent even started its based on longitude and lattitude along with time zones if anyone is good at that stuff please om me i seriously need help

like i know 4minuites is one degree

but thats bout all i know

check it 1 degree of longitude equals 4 minutes because it takes 24 hours for the world to spin 260 degrees, in 24 hours there are 1440 minutes, so divide 1440 by 360 and u get four, so four minutes to each degree

According to time zones Gold Coast is two hours in front of Merredin. Merredin is 3400.37 km from Gold Coast so, 3400.37/111.2=30.57 so 30.57 times by 4 (as in 4 mins) = 122.31. so that means Merredin is two hours and 2 minutes behind the Gold Coast.
