ok i just got the gold edition for 10 bucks


but it wont load properly like its made for xp and when i finally got disk one working when it asks for disk two it wont recocnise i put it in, does anyone have a solution for this??

if you have 7 try xp mode

i have vista 32 bit home premium, and i just wont read the disks it wont even recocgnise there is a disk int he drives

Try cleaning the disk, that should help.

strange, my M2TW work fine on Wn7 64 bit

@gorn the disks are new and clean

@vedic there havent been any solutions for it on google dbut it only happens on the gold edition

Try downloading the latest patch

the reason it worked for me was cause it got it off Steam

oh I thought you installed it and it didn't work.
you should of just got it off Steam

hey when reading up on the problem i came across this steam thing what is it??

btw i found the problem was based in my personal driiver, caused by a windows vista update seems the driver keeps vanishing, kinda annoying but i got the solution for it, gotta go to device manager and refresh the device lists, if that dont work i have to run a microsoft fix it scan and repair and that dus it for me

but yer it wasnt the disk....

so back to the game itself i love it, im england i won the own 45 regions including jerusalum in just 6 hours of play lol,

but yer i love the game im soo addicted, my empire is the uk, france whole of central europe, the middle east spanning from jerusalam o bagdad, italy, and i turned on the catholic bastads lol, i destroyed the papal states, france, the holy roman empire, the mongolians, the milan empire, im woriking on poland, scissaly and the venice empire lol

cos i turned on the catholics everyone hates me except spain and they only allied our relationship is very poor haha

but yer ive defended agains a cruscade lool.. there so difficult the attacks last for about 5-10 rounds, from every catholic empire, thescissally and hungry empires launched a few legions at me hahha

but yer im the numbe rone empire, and the only one im failing at is financial im third

i had to format my pc cos the drivers still wont stop playing up... they still dont work im wondering if u uninstall it how do u reinstall it???

huh non, im wondering how well was i worked it out, how to reinstall ur dvd driver after uninstalling it...
but i just ran a dvc scan.. and it installed it for me

but still the drive is plaiyng up
